Item Duplication Glitch
How to Duplicate Items
The item duplication glitch works by moving quickly across the border of your base to trick the game into constructing a structure without using any materials.
Due to the timing required for the glitch, it may take several tries to execute precisely and consecutively.
Steps to Perform Item Duplication Glitch
- Choose a structure that utilizes the material you want duplicated
- Find the border of your base and have a storage ready nearby
- Build the structure while crossing the border
- Cancel the construction
- Transfer the materials from your inventory to the storage
- Repeat steps from the construction of the structure
Choose a structure that utilizes the materials you want duplicated
The first step is to choose which materials you want to have a lot of and a structure that utilizes a lot of the materials. For example, if you wanted a lot of Refined Ingots, the Weapon Assembly Line II would be a good option as it requires 100 Refined Ingots.
After deciding, have the materials required to construct the structure ready.
Best Technology to Unlock First
Find the border of your base and have a storage ready nearby
Find the border of your base, which appears as a blue line, and construct a storage nearby.
While the nearby storage isn't essential to the glitch, it will make things easier as you will transfer items from your inventory. Having the storage close means you don't have to walk far while duplicating items, saving time and effort.
Store the materials required to construct the chosen structure in the storage.
List of All Storage
Build the structure while crossing the border
This step is the most crucial part of the glitch. To duplicate the materials, you will need to construct the structure while crossing the border of your base. Due to the quick change in position, the game is tricked into thinking you are in two places at once: inside the base, allowing you to construct the structure, and outside, where you're not allowed to spend the materials that are not in your inventory.
There are several ways to do this. Players have seen success while walking, running, or even crouching. But, in our testing, we found that it's easiest to execute when dodge-rolling.
Cancel the construction
Once the blue silhouette of the structure is in place, cancel the construction. Doing this will refund the material cost and transfer them to your inventory.

After canceling the structure's construction, head to your storage. If you succeeded with the glitch, you should have the materials in your inventory while the stock in your storage remains unchanged. But if you fail, the materials in your inventory will have been decreased from the storage.
Whether you succeed or not, if you plan on trying again, you will need to transfer the materials to your storage from your inventory.
Repeat steps from the construction of the structure
After storing the materials, head to your base's border and try constructing the structure again while crossing.
Use Item Duplication Glitch for Rare Materials
Due to how difficult the glitch can be to trigger and how time-consuming the process can be, the glitch is best used on materials that need a lot of time or effort to acquire. Materials such as Pal Metal Ingot, Circuit Board, or Polymer are some examples.

How to Duplicate Loot From Pals
The loot duplication glitch works by killing and capturing a pal at the same time, tricking the game into providing the pal's loot twice.
This glitch is useful for farming rare materials that can only be acquired from rare pals.
